NPLS at the Public Library for Union County - Expungement and Clean Slate Clinic for Community Organizations
Has someone’s criminal record prevented you from providing services? Have you had a client who was denied housing or employment because of a criminal background? Do you see criminal records creating barriers for individuals? North Penn Legal Service (NPLS) may be able to help individuals with a criminal record break through those barriers to housing, employment, or licensing.
NPLS is presenting a free program for service providers at the Public Library for Union County. Join us for an engaging Zoom presentation, or in-person at the library. We will provide a general overview of our services along with specific information about expungements and Pennsylvania’s clean slate law.
This program is designed to provide an overview for local community organizations that may encounter clients who face challenges caused by their criminal background. This is not for clients or potential clients.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Pennsylvania IOLTA Board, North Penn Legal Services is able to provide free legal clinics and other services in rural communities of Northeast Pennsylvania.
